November 18, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
This free event is presented by the Wayne County Bar Association and co-hosted by SEEDS and NaturED. There are no requirements or limitations to how many books you drop off (if any) or you take. Reread them or repurpose them – the goal is reuse every book! The swap will take place on Saturday, November 18th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wayne County Park Street Complex. Count your books and aid in our national recognition of sustainable action for America Recycles Day. Any leftover books will be shipped to Better World Books to support global literacy efforts. Donations may be made on the day of the event or in advance on Thursday, November 16th from 5-6:30 p.m. or Friday, November 17th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monetary donations may also be made at any HNB location. Large donations of books are appreciated in advance (Thursday/Friday) and precounted. Reusable bag donations are appreciated. Volunteers will be available to assist you with drop off donations. They welcome new volunteers! Join the discussion on Facebook @FreeBookSwap. For more information, please call Jenna Mauder at 610-392-7219.
